The CIPR Northern Ireland Awards is the leading celebration of outstanding public relations and communications across Northern Ireland. Each year, the awards shine a spotlight on the exceptional work, creativity, and professionalism that defines our industry from in-house teams to agencies, independents to public bodies.

How to Apply

1. Register
Click on the "Register" link and complete and submit the registration form.
2. Login
Log in to the system with your email and password.
3. Create
From the Dashboard, select the Ulster Bank CIPR Media Awards from the dropdown and click Create.
4. Save
During the Call for Submissions period, your entry can be saved as DRAFT until all the required information is completed and attachments uploaded. As each section is complete, you will see a appear in the category tab when the entry is saved. At any time, you can download and print your entry by clicking on the
icon in the Entry Summary section.
5. Submit
On completion, Submit your Entry as FINAL. Download and print a copy of your entry for your records by clicking on the icon in the Entry Summary section in the right column. Note: If an update is required prior to the Call for Entry period, you can make the update and resave as FINAL.

Rules of Entry
- Early bird entries must be submitted by 23:59 GMT on Friday 29th August 2025. Final entries will be accepted until 23:59 GMT on Friday 9th September 2025. Entry fees are dependent on the deadline you enter.
- Entry fees must be paid in full by 23:59 GMT on Wednesday 14th September 2025. Any unpaid entries will not be judged.
- All entries must be submitted via the online entry platform; hard copies will not be accepted.
- All criteria must be covered within the 1,000-word entry; they should not be covered within the supporting PDF. Entries that exceed 1,000 words may be disqualified.
- We publish your 1,000-word entry online as a case study if you are a winner. After the shortlist has been announced, you will have the opportunity to supply a revised version of your entry with confidential information removed.
- Images uploaded at the time of entry will be used at the Awards ceremony if you are shortlisted and may also be used as marketing collateral.
- You may submit the same entry in more than one category, but each entry must be submitted separately and paid for accordingly.
- There is no discount for submitting more than one entry.
- The decision of the judges is final and numerical scores only are provided, on request, as feedback to any non-shortlisted entrant. However, for entries that receive an average score of 3 or below, the judges will also provide a short-written comment.
- Entrants associated with a CIPR NI Awards 2025 judge may still enter the Awards, but the judge concerned will not take part in the judging process for the categories involved.
- Entrants must have written permission from any third party who has been involved in the entry, or with whom they have worked on the project, prior to its submission in these Awards.
- We are not obliged to respond to or investigate any allegations about entries. If you wish to make a formal complaint about an entry or entrant, it must be supported by prima facie evidence, and the Chairs of Judges will rule on whether the complaint is valid. Where a complaint is found to be valid, an investigation will require detailed documentation from all parties concerned, including the complainant. The Chairs of Judges will make a final ruling on the complaint. Formal complaints should be put in writing and sent to NI Chair, Samantha Livingstone.
- In the event of disqualification, entrants will not be notified.
- It is the entrant’s responsibility to ensure the correct text and documents are uploaded within the entry and that the entry is submitted for the correct category.
- At the time and date of entry, entrants agree that the information supplied is truthful and accurate.
- No refunds will be made under any circumstances.
